Constitution meeting of the G20 Global Smart City Alliance on Technology Governance

Within the framework of the G20 Summit, held in Osaka (Japan) on June 28 and 29, the Global Smart City Alliance on Technology Governance emerged. The alliance included local, regional and national governments together with private partners and citizens to share principles that guide the implementation of Smart Cities in cities.

The World Economic Forum, in collaboration with the G20 presidency, committed to leading a global effort to establish standards and guidelines for the implementation of technologies linked to Smart Cities. As a result, on October 9, within the framework of the 8th Asia Smart City Conference From October 8-11, the first founding meeting of the G20 Global Smart City Alliance on Technology Governance will be held. By the Ministry of Economy and Business of Spain The participation of city networks in this event has been promoted, understanding that it is an excellent opportunity to value the effort that the RECI plays and has played in the Spanish governance model and in promoting the digital transformation of the big cities.
