He Alcobendas City Council and the Spanish Network of Smart Cities (RECI) organize next March 24 at 9:30 a.m. at the Valdespuente Sports City Assembly Hall the day "Cloud Strategies in Smart Cities" within the framework of the activity carried out by the Working Group V - Government, Economy and Business.

During recent years we have witnessed an enormous increase in the processing and storage capacities of computer systems, together with a substantial improvement in the speed and access to computer networks that allow a wide variety of services to be provided in a decentralized manner. and on demand. However, there are other aspects linked to legislation or information security that continue to be a barrier for many local entities.

Working Group V has done prior work with the RECI cities to identify those aspects or topics about which cities have the most doubts when incorporating cloud solutions into their service portfolio.

In this sense, the conference aims to provide experiences, recommendations and success stories in the contracting of cloud services within the Public Administration in its different IaaS, PaaS and SaaS models.
