International Open Data Day Alcobendas

Next March 7, the tenth edition of the International Open Data Day will be celebrated in the city of Alcobendas. The meeting focuses on the organization of activities linked to the open data and its importance for the economic and social development of communities and institutions.

He Open Data Day 2020 (#ODD2020) will bring together those responsible for Public Administration, researchers, journalists and citizens interested in participating, learning and contributing their knowledge and points of view. The objective of the conference is to generate knowledge and share points of view on the application of open data in a multitude of different environments. In this way, the Alcobendas meeting will focus on the definition of open data and its formats, being one of the many events that will be held throughout the world.

The event will be held at the "Valdelasfuentes" Sports City in Alcobendas. From there, together with the Ontological Engineering Group (OEG) and with the support of the Alcobendas City Council, the meeting will be coordinated.

Registration for the event can be made until March 4. The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering a coffee-break to all attendees. The day will be completed with the creation of working groups to discuss data design and planning. The final results will be presented at the end of the day.
