The RECI meets to continue shaping the work plan for the next period 2021-2023

On Friday, October 30, the second meeting took place between the coordinators of the RECI Working Groups to continue shaping the Network's work plan for the next period 2021-2023.

Some preliminary results were presented based on the data obtained from the surveys sent to the cities that make up the RECI, asking about the ongoing projects that would stand out in their city, as well as the challenges they consider they must face in the coming years. At the moment, 39 responses have been received from 37 different cities and around 80 different initiatives have been proposed that will serve to outline the work plan.

While waiting to obtain definitive results, the strategic challenges identified in this initial stage of designing the work plan consist of five large blocks: 1) Smart City Platform, 2) Sustainable urban mobility, 3) Digital transformation, 4) Open data and 5) Energy efficiency.
