The seventh edition of the Smart Grids Congress will take place on December 16, 2020 for the first time in an online 100% format

He VII Smart Grids Congress, the reference event for the smart electricity grid sector in Spain, will take place on December 16, 2020, for the first time in an online 100% format. The program for this seventh edition includes a keynote conference, several round tables on the digitalization of low voltage, energy communities and storage in smart grids; and various oral presentations, selected by the Technical Committee of the Congress from among the 46 proposals received in the Communications Call, which has been open to all key actors in the sector in our country.

The event is organized by Grupo Tecma Red, with the co-organization of FutuRed, the Spanish Technology Platform for Electrical Networks, with the support of more than 60 public and private entities in the sector, including the Spanish Network of Smart Cities. The Congress will take place in this edition in online format, with a streaming connection, offering a varied and participatory experience for all attendees.

The VII Smart Grids Congress will address the main aspects that affect the future of smart electrical networks in the national and European context, at a time of maximum interest after the recent approval of new regulatory frameworks on energy that aspire to promote economic reactivation and the energy transition in our country, in addition to promoting smart grids as a key element in this energy transformation process.

The VII Smart Grids Congress, through this new online modality, will make it possible to follow all the contents of the Congress in streaming.
