Seville Technical Committee March 31 - April 1, 2022

Seville Technical Committee March 31 - April 1, 2022

Marqués de Contadero Center of Seville

We are going to hold the second Technical Committee of the year 2022 in the city of Seville under the theme of "The building as an internal object of the city, a common working framework for the development of applications." It will be held on March 31 and April 1, 2022 at the Marqués de Contadero Center in Seville.

Regarding the theme of the technical conference on Friday, April 1, there is no doubt that the Spanish model of smart cities is a global reference. Standardization, through the UNE 178 standards, has made it possible to have open and interoperable platforms. It is worth highlighting the importance of semantics in the particular case of Smart Building, to ensure interoperability between buildings, platforms and developers.

The Call for Intelligent Building Pilots is part of the National Plan for Intelligent Territories which, through all the calls launched, seeks not only to achieve a real impact on people, but also to consolidate the national industry that allows the products and services that are generated to be internationalized, and thus contribute to creation and wealth in the country. In the Call, a total of eight projects from different cities have been selected, which will involve an investment of 32,066,000 euros.

In the planned model, buildings are integrated into the smart city as an IoT (Internet of Things) node, which provides all the building information to a smart city platform.

In this way, around different Use Cases, data will be sent on the levels of atmospheric pollution at different heights, acoustic or water; meteorological information such as wind speed, temperature, humidity or rainfall; information on consumption of services such as electricity, water, gas or diesel; information on the energy produced, or storage capacities, occupancy and flows of people, among others.

We will initially have the participation of, SEGITTUR, as well as the presence of large companies
