The working groups carry out fundamental work within the Spanish Network of Smart Cities.
The working groups constitute the best forum for exchanging experiences and knowledge between the member cities of the RECI. They also represent an incentive for the technical staff of the different local entities, because they find references and technical solutions to specific problems that they must manage on a daily basis. In this way, the work groups act as the engine of the network in terms of generation and dissemination of knowledge.
The Digitalization and New Technologies working group meets monthly to share good practices, and they have two main subgroups in which study results and other issues related to the following topics are discussed.
Information security and cybersecurity
These lines of work are aligned with the objectives and actions established in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of Spain; the Digital Agenda for Europe, the Spain 2025 Digital Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, within the framework of the 2030 Agenda.
To be part of the working group, it is necessary for the city to be a member of the Red Española de Ciudades Inteligentes If so, you only have to send us an email indicating the work group of interest, town hall, job position, email and full name.
